If those bulky pots and pans are taking up valuable storage space, try hanging them from a rack to create a culinary centerpiece (and free up room in your cabinets for other essentials).
These tiny kitchens are common in studio apartments and other open-plan spaces. While everything is at hand (and limited to a single row), this layout is seriously lacking in counter space.
Often, what attracts homeowners to creating a minimalist kitchen is the style. Clean lines and natural elements are key here. You also want to make sure every piece of décor has a purpose, keeping it minimal.
If you’re having an island built from scratch, consider adding a hideaway table to the design. The piece slides out for meals or when you need extra space for food prep, and tucks back in when not in use.
