This country bathroom uses gentle shades of blue and a nautical theme to add character. Using subtle touches of colour and minimal accessories is a great way to introduce elements of a trend without creating a themed room. Here, shells, starfish and a blue and white striped blind give the neutral bathroom a coastal feel, but only at its most mild. The paneling around the bath offers the perfect place to display accessories.
Introduce shelving where ever you can in a bathroom. The twin washstands shown here incorporate a lower glass shelf for towel storage, while floating wall shelves between basin and mantel mirror provide handy perches for toiletries. A lovely scheme made gorgeous.
This room has more than enough space for a bathtub. But if you have a bath elsewhere in the house, sometimes you just want a shower room that’s stylish, practical and pretty. And this one definitely ticks all of those boxes. Using the full width of the room means there’s plenty of space to walk into the shower without the need to move any doors or screens.
Create a well organised bathroom perfect for pampering with plenty of built-in storage space. Hotel bathrooms are usually compact and have a neat place for everything. These clever cubby holes allow plenty of room for toiletries, keeping the room neat and tidy. Bright tiles and yellow rubber flooring add a hip hotel vibe.
